Probably the friendliest Aikido club in the North East...

The Hagakure Aikido Club started over 10 years ago in Sunderland and has since moved to Washington and eventually the Houghton le Spring Sports Complex, Station Road, Houghton, DH4 5AH, 0191553 6466. The Sports Complex is easily accessible from Sunderland or Durham.

The Hagakure Aikido Club is a member of the Alliance Budo Association and offers a unique range of lessons and courses catering for all ages and abilities.

We are the only Aikido Club in the North East to offer classes for young children aged 3-6 years old. For more information please visit our Aikido 4 Kids section.

Youngsters are encouraged to take up Aikido, the Junior classes offer a unique blend of martial arts training and fun games for young people aged 6-12 years old. For more information please visit our Aikido 4 Juniors section.
